Congratulations, Wild Man!

We have reached a milestone. Wild Man is ready to stop his reading lessons. He has had about 18 months of reading lessons with a tutoring company to help with his dyslexia. His progress has been amazing. Eighteen months ago, he started again with learning letters and sounds. Now, he is reading almost independently. He still has some trouble with decoding. He needs to learn a few more letter combinations and needs lots of practice to help with big words. Dyslexia will likely always make reading more challenging for him than the rest of us, but I'm thrilled at how hard he's worked. As a celebration, we are going to take cupcakes to reading lesson tomorrow and I'm going to get a couple of balloons.

Congratulations, Wild Man!!
